Perfect Red Lips / Labios Rojos Perfectos

Buenos días a todas;

Uno de los colores que en mi opinión siempre  resalta y crea sofisticación a un look es el Rojo y sus distintas tonalidades, desde el borgoña más oscuro pasando por  el rojo sangre intenso y acabando en un rojo anaranjado…..

Para mí este color siempre es un acierto, (teniendo en cuenta siempre el tono de piel de la persona , el de los labios e incluso el tono de los dientes.).

Un look al que recurro cuando tengo prisa ,(seguro que coincido con muchas de vosotras), es aplicar una sombra en crema color piel en el parpado ( normalmente uso Painterly de MAC o Hollow de Illamasqua), marcando ligeramente la cuenca con un marrón suave mate , una buena cantidad de mascara de pestañas y un labial rojo perfectamente trabajado. ( Si me sobra algo de tiempo, oscurezco ligeramente las pestañas superiores con sombra negra.)

¿ Que quiero decir con Perfectamente Trabajado? Aunque como os comentaba anteriormente este color siempre es un acierto, la forma de aplicarlo es fundamental, puede convertir un look espectacular en un look desastroso ya que al ser un color tan llamativo cualquier error que cometamos resalta 3 veces más que con un labial nude ( por ejemplo).

In my opinion One of the colors that always makes a look wonderful and give sophistication is the RED in all his shades , from the darker burgundy along to bright red ending to a orangey- red tone.

You will never fail with this color (bearing in mind the skin tone, the lips color and even the teeth tone. )

When I don´t Have much time ,I use the next look, ( I am sure many of you do the same or similar ) , I apply a cream shadow in a Skin color that match perfectly with my skin ( Painterly From MAC, Hollow from Illamasqua…),  on the eyelid , then with a matte sotf brown I put really softly in my crease, a good amount of mascara and a red lipstick perfectly worked . ( If I have a little extra time I Smoke my lash line with black eyeshadow).

What do I mean when I said  “Red Lipstick Perfectly worked” ?

Although I said before this color is always a good choice , the most important part is how to apply , it is essential , it can change from a Spectular look to an awful look in a while, just because is a striking color and any mistake you make will stand out 3 times more than a nude lipstick ( for example).

Os cuento brevemente cómo los aplico ( siempre que maquillo a una clienta o tengo tiempo en mi propio maquillaje)!

Here you are a step by step to apply the perfect red lipstick (this is the way I do on my clients and If I have time for my own makeup)

Para comenzar lo importante es preparar el labio, si hay pielecillas hay que realizar una exfoliación previa, y posteriormente hidratarlos , si están muy secos hidratarlos directamente.

Otra de las cosas a tener en cuenta  es identificar si existen líneas/arrugas muy marcadas alrededor de los labios  que puedan hacer que el labial pasadas las horas se quede entre esas arruguitas dejando un efecto realmente poco estético! En ese caso habría que preparar el labio con un primer tipo Prep & Prime de MAC que nos haga efecto barrera en esas arrugas. Por lo general yo siempre aplico este primer haya o no arrugas alrededor de los labios, ya que hidrata y prepara los labios perfectamente.

  

To start ,the important thing is to prepare the lip, if you have your lips in “bad” conditions I recommend to make a pre lip Scrub , and then hydrate them .

Another thing to consider are deep lines or wrinkles around the lips,  in this case the lipstick may stay is between those wrinkles leaving a really unattractive effect!

In that situation you have to prepare the lip with a primer like MAC Prep & Prime that makes a barrier effect in those wrinkles and your lipstick stay in your lips ( not between your wrinkles) for hours.

I always apply this primer whether or not wrinkles around the lips because this product hydrates and prepares the lips perfectly .

Lo siguiente que hago es delinear el labio en rojo rellenando el labio con el mismo delineador de labios creando la base perfecta y duradera para aplicar a continuación el labial.

Seguidamente aplico el labial poco a poco sobre la base de delineador creada anteriormente con la brocha 231 de MAC rellenando todo el labio siguiendo la forma creada con el delineador.

Una vez tengo el labial aplicado llega el momento de retocar, normalmente realizo este paso de dos formas o bien con una brocha sintética biselada ( aunque tras el curso con Makeupzone.net creo que voy a probar con la brocha 212) y algún producto en crema ( corrector, base..) o bien con el lápiz Chromagraphic en nc15-20 ,muy delicadamente vamos rodeando y difuminando el contorno de los labio limpiando cualquier error que hayamos podido cometer, esto también  ayuda a dar mas forma al labio.

 The next thing I do is line the lip with a red lip liner and then with the same product Fill the lips creating the perfect and long lasting base for the following lipstick application-

Gently with the brush 231 from MAC I applied the lipstick on top of the previous lip liner base.

Once the lipstick is applied it´s time to corrections, normally I make this step in two different ways , with an angle brush ( After Makeupzone.net course I think I'll try the brush 212) with a cream product ( concealer, foundation ..) or with the Chromagraphic lipliner in NC15 -20,

In both cases I Apply really gently surrounding the lip contour cleaning any mistake (this also helps give more shape to the lip).

Con esta técnica conseguimos unos labios rojos perfectos! Podéis utilizar esta técnica con cualquier labial pero con los colores oscuros es como mas destaca.

With this technique you can get the perfect red lips ! You can use this technique with any lipstick but with dark colors is more useful .
