Buenos y fríos días desde Madrid!!

A lo largo de este año he tenido la oportunidad de probar muchos productos de diferentes marcas y me gustaría compartir con vosotras cuales son los que no pueden faltar nunca en mi Zucca ( mi maletín de maquillaje) ya que me garantizan un trabajo perfecto.

Me he animado a realizar este tipo de entradas ya que personalmente cuando leo este tipo de post cojo muchas ideas y me ayuda conocer la opinión de productos que quizá esté pensando en comprar, me recuerda productos que tengo un poco olvidados etc etc..  o simplemente por gusto de ampliar mi ya extensa Wish List ;), espero os guste.


Bases de Maquillaje:

Es difícil escoger las bases de maquillaje que mas me gustan ya que no todas las bases sientan bien a todo el mundo, pero estas son dos que me encantan ya sean por separado o combinadas entre sí.

·          Nars Sheer Glow Foundation – A estas alturas creo que todas conocéis de sobra esta base, pero para las que se inician en el mundo de maquillaje contaros que es una base con cobertura media-alta , para pieles mixtas,  el acabado es increible, que no os asuste la palabra Glow en el nombre de la base, ya que aunque el acabado no es mate , tampoco deja un acabado con brillos, sino un acabado ligeramente jugoso. El precio creo recordar que en stand ronda los 40€ por 30ml uno de los puntos favorables es que cuenta con muchos tonos, y es muy probable que si la queréis comprar encontréis vuestro tono exacto (algo que no es tan fácil en otras marcas).

·          Face & Body MUFE – Con un acabado completamente opuesto a la anterior, esta base con textura gel y base de agua es una imprescindible para casi cualquier maquillaje que realizo ya que al ser modulable permite ir construyendo la cobertura que queramos poco a poco. Como en el caso anterior tiene un rango muy amplio de tonos por eso siempre es recomendable que paséis por el stand para probar vuestro tono exacto.  El precio de esta base por 50ml creo que ronda también los 40€ pero no os lo podría confirmar seguro ya que cuando la he comprado ha sido con el descuento Pro. Como apunte adicional ..tiene un olor maravilloso!

Como os comentaba en la introducción ambas bases de maquillaje me gustan mucho por separado pero juntas crean una combinación perfecta! Si disponéis de ambas probadlo y contadnos vuestras impresiones!.

Correctores:

Como aclaración inicial comentaros que siempre que puedo intento evitar poner corrector, os preguntaréis cómo, dependiendo de los casos una de las formas que uso es buscar bases mas cubrientes para esa área. Pero si aún asi es necesario corregir la ojera estos son los productos que utilizo:

·          Pro Palette de MAC: En el tono Light Medium. Es una paleta muy completa y muy práctica para transportar. El tipo de Corrector que incluye es el Studio Finish. Es un corrector en crema muy denso con una cobertura muy alta y hay que trabajarlo muy bien para que no aparezcan pliegues. No es un corrector indicado para cualquier tipo de ojera ya que si tenéis arruguitas por mucho que intentéis aplicar polvos aparecerán pliegues, yo lo utilizo muy pocas veces y en ojeras muy marcadas mezclándolo con otros correctores mas hidratantes.

Este tipo de correctores, en mi opinión es fantástico para correcciones faciales, pero igual que en el caso de la ojera, trabajándolos muy bien para integrarlos con la piel. El precio de la paleta es de 41€ y las podéis encontrar en tiendas MAC Pro.

·          Select Moisturecover de MAC :  En este caso el segundo Corrector que utilizo es en formato liquido ,de cobertura media con una característica principal que es la hidratación, a diferencia de otros correctores que secan la zona  de la ojera este es muy hidratante y al ser en formato líquido es más fácil de trabajar y no crea tantos pliegues. El precio de este corrector es de 17.50€ . Para las que estéis interesadas en este corrector pero os parezca caro hay una opción más económica que es el Corrector Fit me de Maybelline creo que ronda los 5 euros y es muy similar, me apunto hacer una entrada para compararlos!

Polvos

·          Banana Ben Nye – He de reconocer que los tengo desde hacer aproximadamente dos meses y estoy enamorada de estos polvos. Son muy finos , matifican pero sin acartonar la piel. Un 10 para estos polvos! En mi caso los compré con algunas compañeras directamente a USA porque los precios que encontramos aquí eran abusivos! Para que os hagáis una idea el bote de x ml nos costó algo menos de 12 euros con gastos de envío incluidos y lo más barato que he visto en España han sido 19€.

·          Laguna NARS -  Si, los archiconocidos Laguna también forman parte de mis favoritos, es juntos con la Base Face & Body uno de los productos que utilizo en la mayoría de los looks que realizo. Es el color perfecto para contornear tonos de piel claro y medios. Su precio ronda los 33 euros.

Blush.

·          Exhibit A – NARS – Si, de primeras es un color que asusta pero con la cantidad justa y una buena brocha el acabado es precioso, da vida a cualquier color de piel sin resultar exagerado! El precio es de 29.90€.

·          Duo Lover Illamasqua: Como en el caso de los Polvos, hace poco que los tengo pero han llegado para quedarse, no cambiaria este duo por nada, ambos colores por separado son preciosos pero la mezcla de los dos es perfecta! El precio es de x y se puede comprar a través de su web.

Iluminadores:

Aquí también debo hacer un inciso ya que soy una apasionada de los iluminadores, creo que ni en 10 vidas maquillando podría acabar todos……Así que como entenderéis es complicado elegir…. ¿ puedo elegir 3?

·          CCB Pearl MAC:  Si os soy sincera este es el que más uso, alguna se quedará asombrada por esto teniendo en mi lista el famosisimo de Kevyn, pero es precioso, al ser en crema se integra perfectamente con la piel. El color no es exagerado es un dorado sutil que para tonos claros y medios es perfectos, para pieles bronceadas en mi opinión quedaría un poco claro. El precio ronda los 20€, es una buena inversión ya que es un producto que cunde mucho.

·          Soft & Gentle MAC :  Otros de mis favoritísimos, aunque he de reconocer que estos no son tan sutiles como el Pearl , son los Soft & Gentle, es uno de los primero que tuve y me encanta el efecto que deja en la piel, aunque repito son bastantes más llamativos aunque sin llegar a ser demasiado brillantes . El precio creo recordar que está sobre los 27€

·          Kevyn Aucoin Celestial: Qué decir de este iluminador que no conozcáis ya….. es perfecto, ilumina pero resultando muy natural, otro producto de 10. El único problema que encuentro es el precio, aquí en España creo que no baja de los 60€, yo lo compré en internet en una página de UK y me costó unos 50€.

Sombras:

Aquí voy a hacer trampa ya que es imposible escoger una sombra , ya que hacer un look con una sombra es posible peeero complementándola con otras…. Así que aquí os dejo mis paletas de MAC que son las básicas que tienen los colores necesarios que necesito para trabajar. Aunque he de decir que todas las sombras de NARS que tengo me encantan, la MEKONG es una pasada, GALAPAGOS igual, NIGHT CLUBBING espectacular y otras que ya os enseñaré más adelante.….. las paletas NAKED también preciosas etc etc….

Mascara de Pestañas:

·          No tengo dudas, Smoky Lash de MUFE, es la perfecta mascara de pestañas,  curva, da volumen y oscurece las pestañas , por el momento no la cambio. Precio 24.90€

Labiales:

·          Patisserie: Las que me conocéis sabéis que me apasiona, creo que es un color que combina perfectamente con cualquier look, nunca faltará en mi kit! El precio es de 19€

·          Lip matt Dragon Girl: Llegó a mis manos en el último pedido a NARS y no me puede gustar mas, es el perfecto rojo-rosado con subtono azulado que blanquea los dientes de una forma instantánea!!! Es sorprendentemente cremoso para ser de acabado mate.

El precio es un poco elevado 25.50€ y si os digo la verdad que no va a cundir mucho por el formato que tiene, al ser en lápiz …… ya os contaré según lo use.

Se me han quedado muchas cosas en el tintero pero poco a poco os iré enseñando productos que me encantan y que no he podido incluir en esta entrada para que no estéis dos horas leyendo este post!

Favorite Products 2013

Good and cold days from Madrid !

Throughout this year I have had the opportunity to try many different brands products and would like to share with you which of those products are essentials in my Zucca ( my makeup bag) and assure a perfect result.

I have decided to make these entries because when I read this type of post I take many ideas and helps me to know the opinion of products I want to buy , posts that reminds products I have forgotten in a drawer. .. or simply like to expand my already extensive Wish List ;) , I hope you enjoy it.

MakeUp Foundations:

It's hard to choose the foundations that I like the most because all foundations do not match good to everybody, but these are the two that I love either separately or in combination.

• Nars Sheer Glow Foundation - I Believe all of you probably  know very well these foundation, but for those news in MakeUp world let me explain you the attributes of this foundation:  that is a base with medium to high coverage ,suitable for combined skin , the finish is beautiful, please do not be scare about the word “Glow” in the name of the foundation, because even if the finish is not matte , either leaves a shiny finish , just a slightly juicy finish. The price is around 40 € for 30ml one of the strong points is that it has many shades , and if you want to buy it´s easy that your may find your exact shade ( something not easy in other brands) .

• MUFE Face & Body – The opposite finish of the previous foundation , this water-based foundation with gel texture is a must for about 80% of my makeup works, has a low coverage but allows to build gradually the coverage adding layers.

As in the previous case we can find a very wide range of tones so I always recommend make a visit to the MUFE Stand or shop and test your exact shade . The price of this foundation for 50ml It´s around 40 € but not sure,  I could not confirm it because when I bought  I had  Pro discount ..

An additional point…… has a wonderful smell!

Back to the introduction I really like both foundations separately but together they create a perfect combination! If you try it tell us your impressions!

Concealer:

As an initial clarification I can tell you that I try to avoid putting concealer, you may wonder how, depending on the case, One of the methods I use is to apply a high coverage foundations in that area. But if it is even necessary to correct the dark circles,  these are the products I use:

• PRO CONCEAL AND CORRECT PALETTE MAC: In Light Medium tone. It is a comprehensive and convenient to transport palette. The product included is Studio Finish Concealer . It is a very thick cream concealer with very high coverage. I find a disadvantage : it´s necessary  to work it really well trying  to prevent creasing.  Not for any skin type .I don´t recommend this Concealer if you have wrinkles.  I rarely use it  , only in very dark circles mixing with another moisturizing concealer.

This type of concealer, in my opinion, is great for skin corrections working them really well to integrate with the skin. The Palette Price is 41 € and you can find it in MAC Pro stores.

• Select Moisturecover MAC : This liquid concealer has medium coverage, the main feature is the moisturizing , comparing with other concealers which dries the dark Circles area, Select Moisturecover is very moisturizing and easy to blend and work with. The Concealer Price is 17.50 € . If you  are interested in this concealer and think is too expensive , there is a cheaper option : Fit Me Concealer from Maybelline It´s around 5€ and is very similar. I will make a post to compare both concealers !

Powder

• Ben Nye Banana - I must admit that I received the Banana Powder about two months ago and I'm in love with these powders. They are very fine , and set the foundation in place for many hours. My punctuation is 10/10 for these powders ! I bought directly to USA with some partners because here in Spain the prices are abusive  ! To give you an idea we bought the Powder under $ 12 with shipping included and the cheapest I've seen in Spain were 19 € ( without shipping).

• NARS Laguna Bronzing Powder - Yes, the well known Laguna are also part of my favorites, together with the Face & Body Foundation is one of the products I use in most of the looks I do. It is the perfect color for contouring  light and medium skin shades . The price is around 33 euros.

Blush .

• Exhibit A - NARS – Yes I know,  its a color that  scares at the first sight but trust me´, with the correct amount and a good blush brush the finish is perfect, provides a healthy  skin without being over the top! The price is € 29.90 .

• Duo Illamasqua Lover : I never change this duo for anything, both colors are beautiful separately but the mix of the two is perfect ! The price is xy can be purchased through their website.

Highlight :

Here I also make a comment I absolutely love love love love Highlighters , I think I could no finish all my Highlighte  in 10 lifes....... So as you will understand is hard to choose .... May I can choose 3 ?

• MAC Pearl Cream Colour Base : If I'm honest this is the most I use , I know some of you will propably be surprised for this because in my list you can find the famous Celestial Powder for Kevyn Aucoin , but yes Pearl is the perfect Highlight, cream blends perfectly with the skin. Color is not exaggerated is a subtle golden light that is perfect for light and midtones , in my opinion for tanned skin would be a bit unclear. The price is around 20 € , is a good investment because it is a product that goes a long way .

• Soft & Gentle MAC : Another of my favourites , although I must admit that these are not as subtle as Pearl is,  the Soft & Gentle is one of the first Highlights I had and I love the effect it leaves on the skin, is more sparkle without being too bright. I remember the price is about 27 €

Kevyn Aucoin • Celestial: What to say about this illuminator Who doesn´t know this Highlight?..... is perfect, with a very natural lights finish , another product of 10. The only problem I find is the price, here in Spain the price is around 60 € , I bought it online at a UK website and I paid about 50 € .

Eyeshadows :

I am going to cheat because it´s impossible to pick only one eyeshadow,… So I post my MAC palettes which are the basic colors that I need to work . Although I must say that I love all NARS shadows I have ; MEKONG is amazing, GALAPAGOS wonderful NIGHT CLUBBING spectacular  etc etc and others I will show you in another post ...... I don´t forget the NAKED palettes Also lovelies ....

Lash Mascara :

• I have no doubt , MUFE Smoky Lash is the perfect mascara ,curve the lashes,  gives volume and made the eyelashes more dark. For the moment I don´t change this Mascara! Price € 24.90

lipsticks :

• Patisserie : Those that know me , know that I love love love Patisserie Lipstick. I think it's the perfect color that matches perfectly with any look, never fail in my kit! The price is 19 €

• Lip matt Dragon Girl: He came to my hands on the last order to NARS and cannot like more , is the perfect red-pink with blue undertone that make your teeth more white an instant ! It is surprisingly creamy for a matte finish .

The price is a bit steep € 25.50.

I have many things in the pipeline but gradually I will be showing you products that I love and  I could not  include in this post because I don’t want you to spent  two hours reading this post ! ;)
